International Conference on Dynamical Networks in Complex Systems

On 25-27 of July, 2001in Kiel (Germany) there was held an International conference on Dynamical Networks in Complex Systems, arranged by European Physical Society. Scientists from more than 20 countries of the world discussed problems, concerning physics as a science, and also the ones on the junction of sciences, for example, physics and economy. A list of a small part of reports gives an opportunity to visualize the whole range of problems, discussed on the Conference.

Thus Kay Nagel from Switzerland opened the conference with the report "Dynamics of Transport Networks", a scientist from Germany Ralph Zammer offered his colleagues to discuss a problem "Cells and Genes as Networks in Development and Evolution ", and Takhayashi Shimoda from Japan -- "A Model of Life History".

Russian science on the conference was represented by Bakunin O.G. ("Kurchatov Center ", Moscow), Krasichkov L. (Saratov State University), Mukhin D. (Institute of Applied Physics, Novgorod), Pismak Yu. (Saint-Petersburg University).

There on the stand was also presented the work by Popkov V.V., Shipitsyn E., Berg D. "Analysis of the Financial Market as a Dynamic Network With Use of the Solid State Physics Model".
