Mr. Popkov Valerian V., Director

Date of birth: 1949
Birthplace: village Ratovka, Novospassky region, Ulyanovskaya oblast.

Mr. V. Popkov got his education in the Urals State University (faculty of Physics), Sverdlovsk Institute of National Economy (faculty of Industry Planning) and in 1990 stood for a degree of Doctor of Philosophy (candidate of economical sciences). In 2001 defended a thesis for Dr Hab in Economics. Pre-bank activities of Mr. V. Popkov are closely connected with the organizational and political work in Sverdlovsk region.

Mr. V. Popkov possesses a special talent for organizational activities. In 1990 at the dawn of a two-level bank system he became an initiator of the arising of a new bank in the Urals region – Uralvneshtorgbank. Since that he has successfully directed the work of this Bank.

In 1999 Mr. V. Popkov united a group of like-minded persons including the scientist from some foreign countries and initiated the organization of International Alexander Bogdanov Institute. Institute was registered on 18 October 1999.

Mr. V. Popkov is a prominent specialist in bank business. His scientific interests concern the ways of Russian bank system’s development; the problems of duality; the ways of renovation of scientific conceptions on the development of nature and society.

Being an active participant of International, all-Russian and regional scientific and practical conferences. Mr. V. Popkov champions the interests of regional banks.

Ms. Bogdanova Olimpiada M, Deputy Director (economics)

Birthplace: Sverdlovsk

Ms. O. Bogdanova got her education in Sverdlovsk Institute of National Economy (faculty of Economics) and in 199_ stood for a degree of Doctor of Philosophy (candidate of economical sciences)

She worked in USSR bank system for more than 20 years, beginning as a credit inspector and becoming a deputy business-manager of the department. For almost 10 years she has been working as a Deputy Chairman of Uralvneshtorgbank, first Vice-President of it. Ms. O. Bogdanova was one of the founders of the Bank in 1991.

Scientific interests of Ms. O. Bogdanova concern the reforming bank system in Russia; creation and functioning of financial organization of a new type. Her ideas and personal experience has found their reflection in her monograph “Commercial Banks of Russia: Forming the Conditions of Steady Development” and some articles.

Mr. Mechryakov Vladimir D., Deputy Director (organizational questions)

Date of birth: 1953
Birthplace: Kungur, Perm region.

Mr. V. Mechryakov got his education in the Urals Polytechnical Institute, in 1996 stood for a degree of Doctor of Philosophy (doctor of economical sciences). Professor Mechryakov became a corresponding member of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences in October 2000.

Since 1992 Mr. V. Mechryakov’s practical activities have been connected with Uralvneshtorgbank. He headed one of the Bank’s departments, was the Bank Moscow Branch manager and in 1998 became Vice-President of Uralvneshtorgbank.

Mr. V. Mechryakov is a prominent specialist in financial and bank business. His main scientific interests concern the elaboration of the ways of bank business formation and perspectivities of bank-financial system.

Mr. V. Mechryakov is the author of more than 40 scientific works, including 4 monographs; the author and scientific editor of 7 collective monographs, textbooks and scientific handbooks. His latest investigations in actual questions of theory and practice in spheres of money, credit and banks have found their reflection in a great number of publications and scientific reports. He is an active participant of numerous scientific conferences and symposiums. Pr. Mechryakov pays much attention to the propaganda of economic theory and training of young scientist.

Mr. Gloveli Georgii D., Deputy Director (science)

Date of birth: 1965
Birthplace: Stupino, Moscow region.

Mr. G. Gloveli got his education in Moscow State university (faculty of Ploitical Ecomomy) and in 1992 stood for a degree of Doctor of Philosophy (candidate of economical sciences)

From 1987 till 1994 Mr. G. Gloveli worked for the Institute of Economy AS USSR – RAS. He prepared the reprints of such A. Bogdanov’s works as: “Tectology: general organizational science” (2 vol. M. – “Economica” – 1989) and “Questions of socialism. Works of different years” (M. – “Politizdat – 1990).

Since 1995 Mr. G. Gloveli has been working as an assistant professor in State University – High economical school.

He is the author or several chapters, devoted to historical-institutional tendency in western economical theory; of the part “Russian Thought from the Source till the Beginning of Soviet Period” in the Russian textbook “The history of Economical Studies” and of the monograph “Socialism of Science: Mebius Ribbon of A.A. Bogdanov (M. – “Znanie” – 1991) and many articles about A.A. Bogdanov.

Mr. Berg Dmitry B., senior research worker.

Date of birth: 1967
Birthplace: Omutinsk, Kirov region

Mr. D. Berg got his education in the Urals State University (faculty of Physical Methods and Devices of Qualitative Control) and stood for a degree of Doctor of Philosophy (candidate of physical-mathematical sciences) in 1994. While a postgraduate student he won the President’s of RF grant. Mr. D. Berg collaborates with the chairs of the USTU and the Urals branch of RAS.

The scientific interests of Mr. D. Berg concern the process of growth in physical, biological, ecological and economical systems; nondestructive management: temporal and spatial fractal structures; duality; party-regulated mediums.

Mr. D. Berg is the author of more than 60 works (23 of them in articles, 4 in deposit manuscripts, 1 in textbooks. He has got 5 patents and 1 certificate of a useful model.

Mr. E. Shipitsyn got his education in the Urals Polytechnical Institute (faculty of Theoretical Physics) and in 1994 stood for a degree of Doctor of Philosophy (candidate of physical sciences).

Since 1989 till 1997 Mr. E. Shipitsyn worked for different Institutes of the Urals Branch of RAS. His scientific interests concern the theoretical physics; physics of solid body, theory of strongly correlated electron systems; investigation of complex systems, consisting of a great number of interacting elements; duality and elaboration of dual methods of analysis of different systems.

Mr. E. Shipitsyn has got 15 publications in different scientific and special journals.

Mr. Kuznetsov Roman O., junior research worker

Birthplace: Chernigovkaya oblast, Ukraine.

Mr. R. Kuznetsov got his education in the Urals State University (faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics) after postgraduate studying he worked for the Scientific-Industrial Association “Authomatics”.

The scientific interests of Mr. O. Kuznetsov concern the investigation of operations and artificial intellect; recognition of models; mathematical programming; system analysis; application of the methods of artificial intellect to economics.

Mr. O. Kuznetsov took part in some conferences. “Tectology in XXI century” (Moscow, 2000) and “Complex Systems in Natural and Social Sciences” (Poland, 2000) among them.

Kapralov Maxim Vladimirovich, junior research worker.

Mr. M Kapralov got his education in the Urals State University (faculty of Biology) and after postgraduate studying in the Urals Branch of RAS Institute of Ecology of Plants and Animals began to work for the International A. Bogdanov Institute.

Scientific interests of Mr. M Kapralov concern diatropics; tectology; system analysis; competitional strategies; evolution and development of systems; genetics of populations. He took part in three youth scientific conferences (Ekaterinburg); in the congress of Russian society of plant physiologists; (Moscow); in the conference “Tectology in XX1 century”.
